Headlight Connector Repin

In replacing a headlight bulb the blue AMP connector to the headlight housing broke. Now I have to repin the new connector to the harness. I used without success a SIR Tools 12 piece swiss army knife pin extractor tool, any suggestions for a better tool or on how to remove the pins ?

The tool tip that fits the connector is a 'Flat Twin Blade 1.6 mm'.

Thanks.

Spend the $36 and buy the Sir 9025 set, you will be able to fix this problem, as well as any other similar issue on any car you will ever own in the future...............

Sir 9025 set? - is there a tool missing in my toolbox that I didn't even know it existed?

It is a set of wiring connector pin extractors that fit most brands of cars, lets you pull out the pin connected to one wire, add another wire, and reinsert the pin when doing something like a Litronic upgrade. No wire splices required.........
