Welcoming my daughter to the Porsche world...
I just signed over the title of my Boxster to my daughter (as promised) and she's now a member of PCA and ready to embark on her new Porsche journey...

Lucky girl!!! How old is your daughter.....just curious? My 14 year old son has been hinting about just such a hand me down since I bought the Boxter. I am definitely not showing him this thread!

After driving mine, my neighbor down the street just bought a Boxster. Their son just turned 13. He thinks that'll be his car when he turns 16...

I tried teaching my daughter to drive the manual 2001 Boxster. After half an hour we both had had enough but she has inherited our 2006 Nissan Xtrail(a small Pathfinder) which sits high off the ground. As a first car I would not want my daughter to have a Boxster. It sits too low and there are too many big cars/trucks around. Sorry to rain on your parade.

It's here 3rd vehicle from me. She's now 21 and when she got her license I gave her a CJ5 Jeep, then sold it and she now has a Landrover and the Boxster.
