She's Beautiful!
After two years of hearing rocks bouncing off my car and watching the wind shield get pitted from the 101 construction I decided to tap into the insurance I have been paying Geicko for 13 years and filed a claim to have the rock chips repaired and the car tidied up. I took it to Dibble's in Santa Rosa because they bought out the Sonnen dealership that was there and have the Porsche equipment and most of the original employees. Todd, the owner, worked with Geicko to turn a claim for front end damage into a full car repaint, new front bumper and new wind shield. It took a month for them to strip it down, sand it, prepare the surface, take out all dents, block sand, primer, paint, sand again and polish. When I picked her up yesterday they had her parked in the showroom and she looked like a new car. Thanks to Norman, the painter, Todd, the owner of Dibble's, Evan from Geicko and everyone else involved my Darlin' looks like a new car.

Wow... Not only a nice paint job, but even had it in the showroom. You picked a wonderful place to have your car repaired!

What was your justification to repair the stone chips, much less a whole car repaint?
It would seem that stone chips would be considered normal wear. |
