Little Cayman help - front engine cover
Hi
I am changing the belt in my 06 Cayman and am taking the front carpet off, but i can't figure out how to get the top plastic part off. I've got the little luggage bar off but I can't see how the plastic below it is attached. I don't want to break it. Any help would be appreciated Bob James

On my 2007 cayman there is also 1 screw next to the hand bar on the drivers side. after you remove it the trim snaps off.

Thanks yes I had that screw out, I was able to use an interior removal tool to pry it up, there are a lot of those snap-in/out attachments along the plastic.
As well there is a plastic snap up top too. I'll post a picture later Bob

I found a good picture tutorial at the planet-9.com site for all kinds of Cayman work including front engine cover removal
