Dark spots on top

I noticed half-dollar size spots running across the top of a Box at CA Fest of Speed. I have the same spots, what's up? (both are black).

They're black on black. Imposible to get resolution on something like that. They're just a tad blacker than field of top. Seen best at an angle; maybe a little less sheen. (and the top is, I know, w/o sheen).

What's a top cleaner? I put a German canvas custom sewn on my '67 VW convert and the guy said don't even bother to get it wet any more than you have to. So I blew it off with compressed air. I don't know what's right.......................

There is some magic Porsche stuff that we sell:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/DWKS/POR_DWKS_porcar_main.htm

that is designed specifically to clean the Boxster and Cabriolet hard top. I haven't used it myself, but we do sell a lot of it, and people seem to be happy with it...
