"Service Now" Message

My 07 Cayman "S" just hit 55K miles and, right after, a "Service Now" message came up on the dash, it's only on when turning the key, after it cranks it goes away...

What does it mean? Can't find a thing on the owners manual and the car runs fine.

I haven't seen this on mine yet but it sounds like it is time for a regularly scheduled service.

Is there anything special required at 55K miles service?
