Thunderhill track day!

I've been tracking my 97' Boxster with 177k miles more lately, and figured I'd share some Thunderhill pictures. I ran with Audio Design in San Jose who rented the track for the day... all day, 25 cars and no session division! The car ran great all day, even with my friend and I tag teaming her relentlessly.

2.5L with straightpipes, X51 pan, and 997 oil cooler
ROW M030 suspension
Dunlop Starspec 225/255
986S front brakes with "GT3" ducts
Moderately lightened and religiously maintained

Looks great, I surprisingly like the 2-tone wheel/mirror look.

Thanks, it definately brings out people's opinions- good or otherwise
I like it because it's different. I was thinking of the 996 GT3rs paint theme, that's replicating the 73rs

If I were to put anything in script down the side, it might be "ClubSport". The clubsport dd/track idea in the past models is what I'm shooting for with this car. But the cursive is overplayed too, perhaps a small version of the 968CS decal

Is that "S" exhaust or something one off?

Custom fabricated by an exhaust shop, must of saved 50 lbs getting that exhaust system outta there.

Hi Daniel,

Nice pics
How did the taller rubber spacers for your rear struts work out?

Hey there, I ended up using a deli meat slicer to "machine" exactly 3mm off the rubber spacer you gave me (like a cut of ham)... It was quite the operation but worked flawlessly!
