Dear Boxster Owners:

9 Magazine is working on an upcoming article on the Top 10 Boxster Add On's. These would be aftermarket goodies to add to your car.

Please take a minute and email us with your suggestions for the Must Have Items for other Boxster owners.

I have only had my 2002 Boxster 2.7 for two weeks but here are the mods I have so far or am planning to make soon.

1.) Door Sill Protectors/Scuff Plates ( I chose Carbon Fiber)

2.) InvisiShield clear bumper paint protector (I chose the X-Pel type http://www.xpel.com/)

3.) Bumper Plugs since there is no front license plate in AZ (www.bumperplugs.com)

4.) Das Schild front and rear trunk lid interior protectors (protects from dents and dings from items in the trunk)

5.) Rear Speaker kit

6.) Clear Turn signal lenses (I think it would look nice on my Black Boxster)

7.) Litronic lighting upgrade

8.) Non Smokers package

9.) Upgraded Intake/Exhaust

10.) Valentine One Radar Locator

I think a lot of peple will say bigger wheels/tires. My car already had the upgrade from 16" to 17" but I am sure many people will not be happy with anything less than 18" wheels/tires.

Any sort of horsepower upgrade would be nice but I am leary of some of the aftermarlet chips available.

While I like my shifter action just fine I have heard great things about short shift kits. Perhaps if I tried one I might decide to put it on my list.

well, i don't know, most of the boxsters i see around here are driven by women. so, i guess a good add-on would be some type of mirror on the dash for applying makeup.

InVisishield Questions

Hi-fi-guy,

How do you like the Invisishield? i am looking at a similar product (Supershield). What di you pay ofr your InvisiShield? Most installers want around $500-700 (options of course!).
