Have a 2000 Boxter w/ 67k miles, drove it to work tried starting it an hour later and it would not start. Had it towed to dealer recieved a call 4 hours later telling me it started right up. This has happened numerous times and dealer is unsure of the cause.

You stated your car would not start. Did it not turn over or not start while cranking? If it did not crank over an ignition switch or starter are possiblilites. Not starting while cranking could be a fuel pump or a multitude of other items. Intermitent problems can be very difficult to diagnose.
