2003 Boxster Hood and trunk Bezel
I recently brought my moms car in for an oil change. I pressed down on the trunk release and the switch pushed through the bezel. I now no that I was not supposed to push down on the switch. It seem like the switch should just push back in place from the bottom. But I can not figure how to get the Plastic bezel off. I see two push pins on the side of it. But it seem there is more holding it in place. Please help. MOM IS PISSED OFF........

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're saying, but if by "push pins", you mean the 'dots' on the side of the panel, you need to pull those out. Once they are out, you'll need to fit in an allen wrench. The 'dots' are covers, there's a hex bolt that needs to be loosened inside. In the bezel are two "fingers" with forks on the end. The hex bolts screw through the forks and hold the fingers in place.
It's one of those things that make sense once it's all apart. |
