Good source for a new top (or window in phx)
 

Hi all,

This is my first Boxster, and first convertible. The rear window was fine but yesterday suddenly there is a tare in the plastic window near one stitch. This is a 2000 Boxster (non-S). I have no idea where to start....I contacted one place here in Phoenix and $450 to sew a new window, $300 if I remove the top (which I certainly will!). Are there other options??

look on the auction site. Lots of choices with glass (~$450) or plastic window ~$300.
