De snork ... Both drivers AND passenger side ?

I am new to the crowd (actually my car ... an '07 Cayman S... to be delivered this week)
Seen a bunch of talk about "de snork " not here to actually dig that pro and con up again ... but rather to ask If a, the same or any benifit is to be had by de snork-ing the passengers (engine cooling side ) ???

There is only a 'snork' on the drivers side intake. The passenger side is a vent for engine heat (with a heat activated fan.).

I just downloaded the parts schematic and may have figured that out ...
or would have once I started removing stuff ... LOL
