Cayman Model years with chance of no IMS problems

Have done a Search but came up with different answers/opinions as to where the IMS problems dissappear.."late 06 + vs 09+" seems the 2 most common replies

Any Porsche M96/97 has some risk of an IMS failure, regardless of the model year; so only the 2009 and later cars, which do not have an IMS, have no risk of it failing.
