The door remote with new battery for my 2007 Boxster doesn't unlock the car unless I press right next to my driver side door, which is within 2 feet range. I searched online and found there was problem on some 986 about the remote antenna range, but I have a 987. I tried the same procedure to work on my 987 by taking out the antenna inside the A-Pillar cover, however I cannot find the antenna there which I believe they are stored somewhere else on the 987s. Am I right, do you know where is antenna located so I can work on it?

The range is the only problem, I have two keys but they make no difference, they perform their job unlocking the trunks and doors. Any suggestions?

I do not know the location of the antenna. I opened a post in our forums. A Pelican community member may be able to answer your question.
