986 legroom

I recently purchased a 2003 base boxster. I drove many boxsters looking for the right one. This one is tighter on legroom than any other I looked at, I bought this one because it seemed to be the best cared for, for what I could afford. In looking at it with the seat all the way back there is a good two or three inches between the seat back and the bulkhead. I was wondering if it is possible to move the seat mount rearward? Thanks for your responses.

I suggest you disconnect your battery (to avoid the airbag fault light) and remove you seat. You probably have something blocking the seat's slides. The boxster seats normally go all the way back to the point where the seat back has crushed into the bulkhead.

Or move it all the way forward and look behind the seat for the trash someone happened to leave there. I found a full coke bottle.

Looked and felt around found nothing guess this box is just a bit short on legroom. Not that big a deal. I can live with it, especially with how this car drives
