Clutch Replacement - Flywheel Degree Wheel
Can anyone direct me to where I can download the flywheel degree wheel that Wayne uses to tighten the flywheel bolts and he says is available on the 101 projects website? Looks like a great tool for finishing up the flywheel bolts properly, but I can't locate it on the Pelican Parts or the 101 projects website. It would probably been a good idea to dedicate a page in the book with the picture.
By the way, the 101 projects for the Boxster is so good, that I bought the 996/997 book as well. Thanks, |

You want a torque angle tool, which looks like this:
![]() It is a Lisle 28100 Torque Angle Meter, about $30 on Amazon.

Suggest you avoid the no+name cheapo ones (Lisle is O.K. If JFP says so!)
The cheap ones have a built-in error because of the loose fit of the square drive. It means you may get 5 degrees of rotation just to remove the free-play. I tried one of these. Yes they are expensive but I found it very accurate and convenient because it uses a sequence of different beeps as you approach, reach & exceed the per-determined angle. Digital Angle Gauge & Digital Torque Wrench | Brown Line Metalworks I have no idea if such accuracy is essential -others will perhaps know that?
