Boxster 986 Transmission swap
does anyone have experience of swapping out the boxster 98 986 5 spd manual to a 6 spd boxster S manual trans?
the S has LSD already equipped so does not need to be added my initial research says the bolts match up OK and the shift cable and axels needs replacing for the S 6 spd. the clutch kit is the same and flywheel is the same What other rear end components hubs, brakes, calipers, bearings and such will need to be exchanged ? Any cautions or recommendations about do this swap ? |
