I recently bought a 2005 Boxster S. After some heavy rain in the last few days, I found that the bottom part of both door panels were soaking wet. I found no trace of rain water anywhere else in the car. Does this mean that the moisture barrier in the door is broken and leaking? Could it be something else? The rubber gasket around the doors seems working fine.

I would assume the vapor barrier on the doors is worn. Remove the door panels to inspect.
