I think you will have issues and may require spacers.

You'll need either 7mm or 10mm spacers in the front, and still may have a little rubbing at full lock. You should be ok on your fender clearances.
You may also want to weigh your existing 17s with the 19's and make sure you aren't adding a bunch of unsprung weight. |

boxster wheels
I have a 2002 Boxster S and am thinking of replacing my 9Jx18 ET52 rear wheels with 10Jx18 ET65 from a Carrera. I understand from web research that I'll need an 18mm spacer and correspondingly longer lug bolts. Should the 10Jx18 with 18mm spacers work from what you know?
Thanks! |

For anyone who comes across this thread, I went ahead and put Carrera 10Jx18 rear wheels on my 2002 Boxster S using 18mm spacers and haven't had any problems after a few months. I used the same 265/35 ZR18 tires for both the old and new wheels.
Old configuration: 993.362.138.01 9Jx18 ET52 265/35 ZR18 New configuration with 18mm spacers: 993.362.140.04 10Jx18 ET65 265/35 ZR18 Cheers! |
