Are you related to a GORDON MCLEOD here in Florida? He was my teacher at the tech school.
BACK to the subject at hand. I have a 99 BOXSTER with approx. 113000 miles on it. The engine was swapped at 75000 with one with 41000 miles. IMS done and everything else you can think of. Has the racing seats with harnesses (better than the factory one). Has headers and catless sport exhaust. Comes with a spare set of rims and tires. Original seats come with it. Catalytic converters too. Top is in excellent condition. Always garaged. Has two very unnoticeable dings that happened before I gotm the car. The previous owner was a friend of mine. All documented and I personally take you to the mechanic who did the work. $10,000.00 cash. Fly in drive back. Actually I lived in Tacoma. P.S. I will have the car detailed for you at no cost.Almost forgot, same color as the one in the picture same color interior. |

Probably just the politically correct ones or those who don't recognize crapola when they see it.
Sure, I've rebuilt 911 motors when they got tired, but not because they were pukeing their guts out......when new or soon there after. So, after all the bad PR of a latent defect, Porsche round filed the M97 (M96?).....but when?

Not saying your right or wrong about the motor. I would love to see real #'s on actual failure rates.

A 99 with swapped engine is a 6-9k motor at this point
