Question on Boxster Door Panels

I have a 1997 Boxster and the window on the drivers side doesn't go down when I open the door from the inside and also the outside.
The same window just recently hasn't been going up and down either. It makes a sound like there's a rock or something stuck in it and then it stops moving. It is currently stuck right now and I don't know if it's trying to come off the track or what's going on. I need help please.
