if you can't pull a vacuum with the airlift systemthen they're is still a leak somewhere.....
have you pressure tested the system? fill it with water and find the leak......
is the oil just oil? any intermixing?

Oh yeah, forgot about that. On the Cayman you have to pull the vacuum from inside the engine compartment, not at the coolant lid in the rear luggage compartment. Open the engine lid, and to the right side you will see a coolant reservoir. Remove the cap there, and i believe you have to pinch off a vent line that goes to the filler neck, then pull the vacuum from the coolant reservoir inside the engine compartment.

Really, I've never seen this in the engine, do you a schematic or picture of this, it's a 3.2.

You are the man, I found it. Hooked up the Airlift and got vacuum, there was still some collant in the line so I only got it up to 20 PSI then shut it off. Vacuum dropped quickly so i do have a leak somewhere. I did clamp the hose from the overflow to the tank, but still no joy. Where does the line that goes over the engine go to?

I opened the pressure relief valve in case it was the issue, but it let off a little vacuum.

I did see a couple of drips near the pump/thermo so I may have messed up... :(

Up goes the car again on the weekend, it sucks doing this without a lift...

Nice work :)

The line that goes over the engine if I remember correctly goes to the oil cooler or heat exchanger on the top of the engine case?

For validation purposes which locations do the two longer bolts go into?

If you are talking about the water pump bolts, the longer bolts go where the two dowels are on the pump.
