How do I get this thing on?

I jacked the car up to figure out how the one still on the car was attached, and I looked at the part I acquired and thought, hoe the
h@#5& did they get these big fat cone-shaped pins into those little holes? You know what I*'m talking about, right? Help! Any tips or tricks will be highly appreciated! SmileWavyhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1468850672.jpg |
Not exactly sure about this particular piece but when I've installed similar items and provided you can get to the back side of the drilled holes, lubricate the rubber with some light oil then with a pair of pliers, pull the "tit" through the hole. Don't use any silicone based lubricant, if you get it on your paint, it's almost impossible to get it off should you re-paint your car. If left on the paint, the new paint won't stick.

I usually use some soapy water, or just some dish soap without water. Lube up the nipples and then it should pop right in.
