I have an issue that is unlike any mentioned so far. One window drops about 1/4 inch when I unlock the car as if the handle has been pulled to open the door. When I'm inside the window stays dropped a 1/4 inch and the door guard lights stay on even while driving. Tried reprogramming the windows but didn't work. It appears the car thinks the door is still open but when I get out and lock the car with the remote the window raises to the correct position and the car locks. I suspect it is a door mechanism fault & switch may be stuck in the open position - others who have sundown that won't drop are stuck in the closed position.

Likely the door latch switch.
