Boxster horn rubber
Might not be the best description. I have 97 Boxster and the rubber bushing to make the horn blow is deteriorated. I took some rubber like insulation and put in to keep the contacts from touching. I ordered from you the horns. The horn now blows, after 4 years of not eorking. I'm concered the insulation will be a short fix. Do you have any suggestions to replace the insulation with something more permanent?

Welcome to the Pelican community, Flewis99!
I'm not sure if there is an actual part # for the bushing. I have 2 suggestions for you. 1 - contact our Boxster specialist here: Pelican Parts - Contact Us They will be able to look up parts diagrams and see if that insulation part is available, which we should be able to get you if it is. 2 - join our 986 forum and ask their input: General Discussions - 986 Forum - for Porsche Boxster Owners and Others That forum is specific to your Boxster and there are a lot of knowledgable individuals on there. Let me know if you have any questions. |
