Hi. I'm looking at a '97 Boxster with only 8890 original miles. This is all verifiable. The car looks brand new, but I'm afraid of buying the first model year. The seller is asking 20, but I think 17,5 is a fair price. Am I wrong? It has a lot of exclusive options like the painted steering column and dash inserts. The seller also has the original window sticker as well as the books and tools. It's silver on red and I have video of the car idling, starting, turning off, top going down/up, radio playing...Everything looks fine but a ppi is a must. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Not sure about the value of the vehicle. Your local market will dictate that. Get the PPI, that should uncover any obvious or major defects.
