door lock
I have a 98 boxster. My driver side window no longer drops down 1/4" upon entry. Reading other forums their is no window play which would rule out the regulator. Is this correct? Is there anything esle I should check for before your recommendation. Thank You Don B

Probably the cable has stretched. You can buy a new regulator or put in a cable adjuster from a bicycle or motorcycle to take up the slack. If you have speakers, take it out and see if the cable housing can be pulled away from the steel post.
