I looked at a 2014 Boxster today and even the newer models have a problem with the roof...the vehicle has 11,000 miles on it..it too looks like there is some rubbing on the material....strange Porsche hasn't fixed that issue. Avoid a light colored roof...the black rub marks won't come off due to indented into the material

That happens when the top is left down for many many miles. If you find a car which the top was never put down it will not have those marks until you use it!
