Where do these parts belong 1997 Boxster
Anyone know where these panels belong. Took the tiptronic tranny out in November and just now installing it. So i am not sure where these plastic parts belong.
Any input would be appreciated.

Did you stand the clamshell straight up while you were accessing the engine?
They look like the trim pieces that clip onto the underside of the clamshell, one per side. I found one of mine down inside the roof well once and had to snap it back on. |

They're not just trim pieces, they work to channel rain water to the drains and keep it out of your car's interior. Put them back in or your may face an expenise immobiliser replacement

On the illustrated parts breakdown they are referred to as "Trim Covers" P/Ns 986 561 445 03 and 996 561 446 03. These are components in the Convertible Top Driving Mechanism. Item #34.
