if a exhaust is rated 11 hp and flashing is rated 12 hp and header is rated 20 hp would the gain be the sum of 43 hp . How would you figure the actual gain?

Good question. I usually assume any one mod can get 10, then all the mods can get 15 total. Only a dyno sheet will tell the truth.

Every Boxster already has a cold air intake
As the intake air is taken from outside the car and not from inside the hot engine compartment.
And if you are expecting 40+ HP gain from the mods you cite, I have some swamp land you could buy. Figure $100 per HP and beware of driveability problems with extreme approaches. A list of mods I've seen is here. |
