P1130
I just put my 01 Boxster back together...changed the drive axles, which included gutting the entire rear suspension and rebuilding it, While I was in there, I changed the AOS, cleaned the MAF, cleaned the throttle body, and put a new hose in for the AOS (documented http://forums.pelicanparts.com/boxster-cayman-forum/971386-air-oil-separator-lower-hose.html). Als, changed the three main coolant hoses on the bottom of the engine, and flushed out the G05 and replaced with DexCool.
Now I am getting the P1130 code. I am thinking I did something to cause this while working in the engine compartment, but that may not specifically be the case. Could have been waiting to happen and I just pushed it over the edge. Anyway, anyone have any practical info regarding the cause of this? Car is stock, no mods (when Iresearch P1130, first questions are usually regarding "what mods have been done?") TIA Pat

Are you using a K&N type oiled filter? From what I've read about this code, it typically is oil or grease on the MAF sensor. You can try cleaning it again and see what happens.
