WTB: 914 in western Canada!!

I have a buddy that is looking for a 914 to buy for a resto project. We are in Calgary, Ab, so anything in western canada would be great. A local fellow has a 70 914 with a transplanted 73 2.0 engine. I'm not sure if he is interested in selling, but can pass on his #. He did not drive it at all last year. He has a pile of spare parts too.

Saw an advert on the VSCCC web page of someone selling a 914 in Calgary. Don't know anything more about it, but you can check it out at www.vsccc.ca. I think that it might just be a tub but something is better than nothing.

There is one sitting in the back yard of a neighbor of mine. I don't know them or if the car is for sale but I was tempted to make them an offer myself before I bought my 914 wide body. I know of one that has a 3.2 for sale but the asking price is $24000 and it doesn't sound like that is what you are looking for. Good luck!
