Western Swap meet

Hi,

I am thinking we should host a swap meet in Calgary, and wanted to know what kind of response there would be?

I spoke to the Wild Rose PCA and they are interested but not sure logistically how to host it.

I know I have some parts to sell, and I would sure like to buy some others, and shipping to the states is a killer.

Please reply if you think this is a good idea, and any comments on form.

If there is enough interest I will get the all the PCA groups involved.

I would definately be interested. I'm in Regina, but I would drive up to Calgary if meant I could find some decent used parts and talk with some Porsche people (not too many Porsches in Regina). Keep us posted, and hopefully you'll be able to set something up.

combine it woith a VW swapmeet and it could really take off. Talk to the guys here-Club Vee Dub there was some talk going on about getting a swap meet going in calgary.

I love the idea of a Canadian swap meet in the likes of Hershey or Carlisle. Incorporate a show and a car corral (cars for sale) and it would seem to be a winner!

I agree,great idea and Ill be there for sure. I like the idea of combining
the swap meet with an informal show/display. Sounds like a great day to me...

Sounds like there would be enough interest. I am thinking early June. I will touch base with other PCA groups to get their feedback.
