Just thought of a great idea

If any of you guys from Calgary or the Coast want to attend one of the BC Interior Regions Fun Runs my wife and I would be pleased to host you for an overnighter or two?

Here's our website, you can check out some of our events and we'd be please to host a pelicanhead and have some fun doing a day run.

LINK to Int. BC PCA: http://www.pca.org/bci/

eMail me at rmckibbon@airspeedwireless.ca if you're at all interested and we'll see if we can't hook up for one of the events?

Just a thought

Very generous offer Rob!

I would love to attend all events, but it's up to my better half. With two 1 year olds it's kinda tough. I'm hoping to get the "approval" to do the SCWDP event this year, and the autoX's are a given.

If I'm in Windermere around the time of some of the interior events, I'll see if I can hook up for some parts of them.

Still waiting for all the gravel to be swept up in the big city

Hi Rich, How are YA!

You must be bored surfin' over here; hah ha ha.
I can't believe that is your car? I guess on the positive side you always wanted that paint job and looks like you're gonna get it.

Can't wait to see it done.
Hope we hook up soon again.
I've met and spoke to DJ a few times since our last meeting, which was pretty cool. My friend, Mike who you met bought his 911 last fall and we're planning to go to a few events, including the Ossoyoos run...... see you there I hope?

my new email address is rmckibbon@airspeedwireless.ca so drop me a line and we'll hook up and catch up.

Thanks for the note,
Rob

Well Rob I'm still on vacation for another week so I'm GOOD!

I'm definately up for a trip to the Okanagan! I'd go right now if I could, but the car is obviously not road worthy. By the time you see it next it should look like a brand new car.

Your and Mike's car look gorgeous! can't wait to see them again!

Duffy Lake Road, Whistler

Made another road trip last week,
Went from Salmon Arm through Cache Creek, Lillooett, down the Duffy Lake Road to Pemberton and Whistler. Spent the night in Whistler and came back via the Coq. the following day.

Good trip, the car ran great and the Duffy Road was great.

Passed an off duty cop near Cache Creek and he had phoned local RCMP to have a road block set up for me. Slapped my wrist with a warning.

Did an unscathed 360 on the TCH when I hit a small lake in the middle of the highway That woke me up and yes, new tires are on order now.

Here's a shot of Lillooett Lake in the background. It was raining off and on, so I didn't have any other great photo opps, but it's always fun to drive the Duffy.

Holy crap! I'm glad you and the car are ok, Rob!!!

I'm planning on a Duffy run as soon as the car is back, now that spring is here and the snow is gone!! I love that road - except ya gotta be careful for those Native Indian Reserve "Police" in unmarked cars - who call the RCMP on anyone they "think" is speeding or will be. (even if they are right!)

Heres my car right now totally stripped and about to go on a tow truck to the paint shop:

Hi Rob:

Looks like we were doing the same thing on the same day, just different locations (not the 360 though).
