Porshe Get-together in Salmon Arm
We are having a get-together in Salmon Arm July 16 and 17. We will be doing a drive through the Roger's Pass, playing golf, talking Porsches, maybe even having a few beers. We have a hotel right on the Shuswap Lake. If you are interested, the link to our website is:

A quick update - more details....
Here is a summary of activities: Meet in Salmon Arm about 4 to 5 on Friday, At 6:00 to 9, meet at A&W with local car club, then back to Hotel for a beer or two. Saturday, a drive to the Roger's Pass and a few roads that one of the more local people knows, then Dinner at the Hotel. Sunday, Golf or "Spirited Drive" in the morning, BBQ courtesy of the local car club at 1:00 PM, then home. Any other questions, please let me know. The main idea is a great weekend type vacation in beautiful Salmon Arm hanging with some fellow Porsche owners. For me, it doesn't get much better.... Warren |

We will organize meeting points for drivers from different areas so that the Porsches can "convoy" to Salmon Arm if they like. I will work on this over the next week. It may be more difficult for you though Rob.

yup, looks like I'm gonna be there!
We can party at my place too if anyone is interested? Heated Pool, Waterfront, ski boat, fire pit, BBQ's, pretty much the works. I can also put up a couple guys if money for hotels is tight? Caution: Long gravel driveway, not the greatest??? My car does it fine, but some cars owners may object. I'm about 20 minutes from Salmon Arm.... Mike and I will be there with our 911's, Looking forward to the meet. Cheers! |

It was by far the best Porsche drive/tour I've been on. Thanks a bunch for everything.

A fantastic weekend!
Nice meeting you all, and special thanks to Warren and Jeff for organizing the tour. Also thanks to Rob and Lynn for sharing their "humble" abode with us, and to John for leading the charge and for "Silver Creek". Ev and I drove Silver Creek the next morning, on thru Cache Creek and Hwy 1, avoiding the toll booth shuffle. Some pic's; you've seen all the cars, so here's the people (well, most of them) Here's Jeff getting some air!! The artsy fartsy shot

Sorry I missed the get together in salmon arm. That's pretty close to where I am (100 Mile House). A friend of mine told me they saw a caravan of Porsches over the weekend down there but I had no idea what was happening. If you do it again I'll definitely try to make it. Would love to see other P-Cars and share some chat over beers. Next time for sure!
Adding photo of my car as I didn't get down there this time.
