AutoX Tues night (30th)

Sacrifice what you have to for no rain, and pray. We need a good night for a change.

All welcome

Cool... I'm in... uhhh... location and time?

Even the province would be a good start.

Sorry Jeff, it was Calgary...

I was more concerned with getting the date in there (due to my last AX post) that I forgot Calgary.

It was a good night (read no rain), but again way too many cars....about 24.

I got in four runs, and it's been too long so I sucked, but I had fun. There were 3 GT3, a Cayenne, and alot of other nice iron. I will post pictures once my camera battery has been charged.

Yep too many cars. The night before (monday) we got 7-9 runs in each. It was difficult to go from that much driving to sitting around for 1 hour at a time.

Nice cars for sure. Did anyone get the times?

GT3 run around 1 minute 12 seconds...Cayenne ran around 1 minute 30 seconds.
What was the night before and why wasn't I there

Here are some teasers..

Dam I've had to rename/resize these pictures 4 times...

I give up I've re-sized, renamed and they still don't work. Any size my arse.

Nice pics... we just ran our Whistler Weekend AutoX, and it was quite wet/rainy for the first half of the run.

Pics start here: http://porsche.jeffgrant.com/whistlerweekend/Page5.html

You know, it might be fun to drive out to attend one of your events sometime next year... I know 4 or 5 of us that would probably drive out and make a weekend of it. Do you guys run any events on the weekends?

Well I was stuck taking passengers around all night. but my best run in the 02 was 1:24 not bad for the oldest car there with a 180lb passenger!

The night before another club had the track.

Next year I am thinking of renting the track for vintage/classic cars only say pre- 1980?

Anyone interested?

We could even get a september date I bet.
