replacing parking brake shoes
Just getting into the job and found that my rear brake sensors are not even connected! Real help needed regarding getting the rear discs off. My 911 guide book says there are two screws (flat screwdriver) to remove but can only see 2 phillips screws on the hub. Anyone can help would muchly appreciate!

My 82 has the 2 phillips screws. I used a screw impact driver to get them out - rusty. Once out, the disc will slide right off.
Good luck.

Make sure you use anti-seize when you replace the screws.
I've tie-wrapped my sensors out of the way. If you check your brakes regularly you don't need them. They are only a wear indicator.

Thanks
Thanks for the tips guys.
The impact driver worked great and the shoes are on. Also thanks for the tip about the sensors. They are already neatly tied up and I was going to change them. But I don't do much mileage in the Summer and I will check them every year. I've left the wheels off for now as I am contemplating painting the calipers. Still have a couple of months to work on various projects with the car, so I am in no rush until the weather gets better in April/may
