Super Tour 3700 miles

What a blast!
I can confirm that the SS 3.2 will do 130m/h at 6000 RPM thanks to a long straight in Uta.
I highly recommend seeing Bryce Canyon, the North rim of the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley; great Porsche roads and scenery!

The #12 in Uta from Torrey towards Escalante is "wow"!

Bryce Canyon:

Escalante:

Monument Valley:

Expect an orange halo around your head for days after you come back.
And yes, you can swim in the Colorado River, the water is clear and cold.

30+ years ago I drove through Utah, and remember that road cut through the sanstone. What road is it? I remember that drive as being through spectacular country.

That would be #12 through Bryce Canyon and the grand staircase (Escalante)
Best is to go on I-15 South of Salt Lake City to Aurora and watch for #24.
Follow #24 to Torrey, then #12 where the fun starts; immediate gorgeous curves and on to Escalante, spectacular views, continue to Bryce Canyon.

My base is Page, AZ, when I am there and from Page I can go to Monument Valley #98, #160, #163, or to Bryce Canyon #89, #12, or the North rim of the Grand Canyon #89, #89ALT, #67, all within 2 hours driving time.

Swimming in the Colorado is a must!

Don't wait another 30 years

I have done a similar run from Vegas (the trip paid for itself plus some) to Salt Lake City (best skiing). Great scenery and roads.

Unfortunately, I did it in a rented Chevy Cobalt but I saw a lot of fun cars making the trip (Lotus Elise, Corvettes and Stangs and two sweet Ferrari 360s-- i think as they passed so quickly). On one stretch, I was trying to get out of the way of the Elise and a state trooper clocked me at over 110 mph in the Cobalt. Luckily, he knocked it down and it was only a <$100 fine and doesn't appear on my ON record....
