I'm Bad
I took Ruby out yesterday after FINALLY repairing the throttle cable that broke at the final track event of the year.
Since it had rained all day, I figured the salt was well enough washed away - and I had to make sure I had adjusted the WOT properly. An hour and a bit later, I pulled her back into her bay in the garage. I think the WOT was adjusted rather nicely. Hopefully January will give us some plus temps - you'll see me again at the Saturday GTG. |
The WOT fix is even better for the driver than for the car :)

Good work, James. I was just out looking at my baby under her cover, it was tempting to fire her up and take to the dry looking roads, but I think I have enough concerns about rust as it is. Atleast your car was fully galvanized by the factory! Too bad my favourite things are sailing and the 911, it seems it will be a long wait...

Good for you James.....
.....I too took out the 930 on Saturday for a blast. The roads were remarkably clean in my area after the hard rain we got....and I had been caught early this year, with the car parked with no fuel in the tank, no stabilizer, etc....so I got a good run in, filled it up, added some stabil, and parked again, and didn't even have a trace of salt or powder on the car.....it was a treat for sure, especially after driving the F250 for 2 months, I felt like I was in an Indy car!!!!!! Can't wait for spring......
