What battery to buy?
My battery in the 964 isn't holding charge. What battery and where do you guys go in Canada to get a battery? I've heard Optima or dry cell is the way to go. Thoughts? Thanks.

I've been Walmart free for 2 years.
I think Costco carries the Optima line...I might check there. I do not have a huge rush....it's not like I can drive the car right now anyway. Thanks!

If your current battery is more than 3-4 years old, MAYBE you'll need a new one.
I would find out why it doesn't hold a charge by having it tested. A shop will put a load on it, usually for free. If the battery is still good, you'll need to trace the leak; do a search. Optima Red is good but you'll need to make a tray to mount it; Alu or plastic: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=328799&highlight=optima +power

Thanks Gunter. Question though, do I need that mounting bracket? There are others who say that the Optima 35 fits right in.
