Importing partially disassembled car
Does anyone have experience importing a non-running or partially disassembled vehicle into Canada from the USA. Is the procedure the same as for a complete, driveable car or are there special forms, etc.?

It depends on what your intent is with the car. If your planning on fixing it and putting it back on the road, it comes in the same as a drivable car. If you tell them it's a parts car only, you will never be able to register it.

I dragged this back from Denver. I have intentions of licensing it, so I jumped through the regular hoops. ![]() Tim |

I figured you might know my uncle Omer Kitchen.
It's an 83 SC. Here's a few pics. Still a looong ways off. http://www.flickr.com/photos/21632926@N02/sets/72157603404927837/ Tim K |

A bit of both. As the years tick by, I'm leaning toward more conservative "upgrades".
What do you have in the stable? Tim K |

Just 914's and a 68 Impalla convert.
I'm thinking of picking up a 69 E targa when the weather gets warmer and I have some room. It's been sitting for 16 yrs in a garage.

Very cool.
Let me know if you need anything. I stripped a rust bucket 69T coupe for parts a few years back. Tim |
