can we or should we complain

No Bill, I can't complain about the exchange, I just sold a whole bunch of stuff on Flea-Bay and the money comes in, I am actually making money.
I got most of my stuff for the 911 and the rest can wait till the Loonie has a better exchange.

like Fritz. I'm going to watch what I buy for a while, while selling everything possible for US greenbacks!

You're right, not bad if you are exporting but kind of sucks if you are purchasing.....
Thank goodness I don't need anything but I want a bunch of stuff!

I'll go with the bad, I was waiting to place an order with PP until I figured out all the little things I needed for my car. Now it is going to cost 25% more than a month ago...

Yeah, in some ways it sucks but I changed a lot of $ when the exchange rate was high.
I expect it to fall more as interest rates are lowered from here on in.

But travel is still good; Hotels and gas are so much cheaper in the US that it comes out even plus the roads are sooooo much better.

The NE Oregon runs are unbelievable and I can't wait till Spring to do it again.

In the meantime, Hawaii again this Winter and swimming with the turtles.

It's cheaper than last year, go figure.

It will be interesting to see the latest stats as to how many vehicles Canadians have imported from the US. Exchange rate today at 30 % (xe.com) - OUCH.

For me anyways it sure has dried up my interest in US based cars.

Yup! Nothing like oil being in the toilet and a legal parliamentary coup to drive down the value of the Loony.

well, I can't complain TOO much. I just sold my '73, for US dollars. now that's sitting in a US dollar bank account for the right moment to exchange it. it's making me crazy with the way exchange goes up and down though, lost $400 since yesterday.

still need a bunch of stuff to finish my engine, but I think I'll give Uli (?) at Wiessach a list and see what he can do. between duty and exchange we're talking near 50% on top of the pelican price to my door!

Was that the silver or gray car that you had posted a while back? It looked like a nice car for the money.
