SO that is where all our snow ended up. I go to spend a winter in Whistler skiing, and it snows more back in Calgary than out here

You going to put a real road into your place this year so I don'ty have to worry about getting stuck in the middle of your field if I come out to visit?

Thumbs up

Call me McGunty.

Got a bottle of 18 year-old whiskey for St. Patrick's day; good stuff.

We made Irish coffee, looked out at the moon and snow outside:

And dreaming of this:

Two more months.

Gunter - 2 more months? it was 17° in Lethbridge yesterday... and the snow was melted down below the windows on my car... and then last night another snow storm.

Rob - a road is in order for this year. The mud season has begun. When are you back?

Back full time May 15th. Will actually be back for a few days right at the start of May for a friends 50th birthday and to transport some of our stuff back as it won't all fit in the truck in one trip. Figure the snow will be gone then?

How did you do with your house construction?

Then it is back to work on the house, Chris's 944, my 911, the Motorcycle and the Bobcat. Going to be a busy summer.

Well, the snow is drifting bad again. I plowed out to the road with the back hoe and couldn"t make it back. While trying to get myself unstuck the front axel broke. *****!!!

I can't even get a welder in here to fix it up with the snow as it is and my snow clearing machine is screwed. I guess I gotta go get the other mog with the plow on Tuesday for sure now.

The warm sunshine has been here for 2 days. A rarity for the wet coast.

Actually got into the low double digits with the bees out doing their thing. Even had to turn the heat off in the shop. Spring is slowly starting to show.

Pic taken this afternoon.........

I was so excited last week when it was 12C outside and all the snow was almost melted away...had the car cover taken off, insurance put back on.....just so she can still sit in the garage and wait....and wait.....and wait.

Spring has not sprung.

I almost considered putting my new wheels on the pepper (that I've had for two months), then last sat. DUMP, woke up this morning DUMP.

F1 on the tube and snow on the roads, something is not right here.

Yes I am sick on this snow now....

Question

Why the surprise?

We've been warned about climate-change for the last 30 years by the Union of Concered Scientists and those pesky tree-huggers.

I'll get worse exponentially.

In the meantime, keep warm and make a cool fashion-statement with these:

The pom-poms may be in the way for heel-toe shifting.

Guys you live in Calgary?

It's not May long weekend yet so why are you getting all excited?

The cursed 'ol man winter has finally let his grip go on the Shuswap; finally!
We'll be driving our cars soon.

Last year, my car was back on the road in Feb....I guess that was the odd exception. Oh well, back to hibernating.

True, true one of the reasons I bought it (to have fun all year), but it's a lot more fun (like the 911) to drive on bare roads

This snow is just interfering with my p-car & truck mods.

Hey Rob were sending you over a huge dump of snow just because we can

I know, I heard. Still OK here, but like you, that's why we have the sleds.
If it snows, we shut the door and head up the mountain the same day.
Nothing like fresh snow.

It'll all be over soon; I've already started my Spring workouts.

See if ya can't keep that backdoor from AB to BC closed for us, pleasssse!
