What a a beauty! Can't say that I have seen it on the streets but someone is going to be very happy with that purchase.
Any other photos to share? Thom.

I saw you then, turning off Shag onto Country Hills a few weeks back. I remember seeing the pic/ad of the car somewhere and knew it was the car. I too am a NW area resident.

911JC911 what color is your car? Not too many C2s running around here.
Unclebilly really wants my 911. He said so himself. I know he's thinking "can't have too many 911s". |

So who did the conversion and how'd it go. What tranny is in it, and where's the ECU?
Cheers

Bob, the previous owner did this conversion. Done with Patrick Motorsports conversion kit. Stock 915 box. ECU is under the drivers seat.
I've done a transplant to another members 911 (that was my insperation for buying this car). The transplant is not very difficult when using a conversion kit from Patrick or Timmins. Exhaust can be a tough one to define. |

Wow Jim - if only you had said "I'm only interested in trades for a rusty 1969 Mercedes, a mitt full of dryer lint, and a sack full of beers", I'd be in! That would be a great candidate for a backdate!

Sounds really nice 911JC. Can't say I've seen your machine, or at least not that I recall.
Keith, I know what you're up to, you're wearing me down until I cave. Rob, with that friggin huge comission over on OT just how much $$ do you need before you declare it "play money"? |

I have seen this car up close and often thought it would be great parked in my garage... That said the wife would have me living in the garage with the car... So I'll continue to mull over the pros and cons of living in the garage and get back to you..
Really nice tight car Jim... hey how about a trade for a 71 Norton commando and a 59 Triumph TR3! they both umm qualify and projects. |

Jim,
I can top Keith's offer. Ever heard of a Unimog??? Still a Mercedes, a bit newer than Keith's but probably just as rusty... ![]() I'd also include beer, pocket lint and a Magic Blue Potato... think of the possibilities. Scott.

On a serious note - this car is not even close to a project car. I offer to exchange it for a collection of parts sufficient to build 1.35 911s from.
That's right 1.35 911s for your 1 911! You sir, are making out like a bandit!! I eagerly await your agreement so we can conclude this deal.
