Does anybody want to split on some Swepco 201

Hi Guys,

I found a guy locally that sells Swecpo 201 for $65 a gallon. The only caveat is that you have to buy 2x 1gallon containers of it. I haven't checked but I think 1 gallon is enough to do my 915 transmission. Does anyone want to buy the other gallon off me at cost?

I am located in Toronto but spend a lot of time in the Niagara region. The gentlemen I am buying the swepco off of lives in Thorld, Ontario.

Regards,
Dennis

I don't need any (at least not right now) but 1 gallon is too much for a single flush/fill. Spec is 3 litres, and you DON'T want to be overfilling it, because it will drip for weeks. (ask me how I know...!) Fill it from the fill plug on the side, and when it starts overflowing from there, you're done.

Call bearing and transmission - way cheaper.

Christrien - 1 gallon is 3.78 liters.

Exactly - have you ever overfilled a tranny? It's not a pretty sight! I overfilled mine after I rebuilt it and thought it was leaking. I dropped the engine again and resealed the tranny. Turns out it was likely a combination of both overfill seepage and leaking, as the seal wasn't great. But when I reinstalled it I overfilled it again (this is when I learned about it) because I filled it from the top hole (overflow valve). I was ready to push the car off a cliff when it was still dripping after resealing. Then I learned, drained off about 500ml and all was fine. So that extra 780ml could make for a lot of misery!
