Track/Street 1986 Carrera with 1996 3.6 for Sale
I bought this car in the spring from a local Calgary member, he had purchased it and had it setup for track use. I want to sell it as I have a couple other projects going on for which I could use the money and time. It is a well sorted, reliable car which you can drive to and from the track if you wanted to, or switch back to a more street oriented car. When I drive it on the street I get a lot of positive comments from people as even though it has the usual paint rash from running on the track, it is a really good looking car.
1986 911 SC US Imported Exterior Rennspeed front and rear bumpers and ducktail Painted Porsche Arrow Blue aka Acid Blue, L305 Paint in in generally good shape with chips from the track mostly on the front air dam Remove all AC H4 Headlamps Paint Trim Rings Interior Remove AC and heat Momo Steering wheel Wevo Shifter Remove fold down rear seat backs Sparco Driver seat installed Sparco Passenger seat Sunroof mechanisms removed Still has power windows and door locks, all the heating stuff is in place, although no heat hooked up at the moment. Steering Bump steer kit Turbo Tie rods Installed strut brace Suspension Front Torsion bars front 22mm Rear Torsions 30mm hollow Bilstein Sports Front/Rear 930 front struts Weltmeister f/r adjustable sways ER PolyBronze Front (New this summer) Offset Camber Plates (new this summer) Engine/Exhaust and Performance Mods 3.6 Vram Type M 64/21 OBD1 ( Euro vram for manual Gearbox ) from Germany Steve Timmins Conversion Kit Mocal front oil cooler. Custom dual exhaust Magnaflow muffler on 993 HE (no heat at the moment) Racing Battery Safety Installed Bolt in roll bar (autopower) Installed Cabin Fire Extinguisher Installed F/R Tow Hooks Wheels Tires Brakes 8x17 and 10x17 3pc BBS/Fuchs and 235/40 and 255/40 R888/RA1 R*** almost new, RA1 almost done Longer studs front and back 930 4 piston brakes f+r Also have a set of Rota’s (7.5 and 9 with 235/255 ) that could go with the car instead of the BBs which would be better for street as they provide more clearance and would fit better if a buyer wanted to move to a more street oriented suspension settings Bad, There is one small rust hole in the front driver side tub, up high just by the front, about the size of a loonie, Nothing else I can find I had to do some hammer work on the front flares to provide more clearance for the tires as they were rubbing with the BBs. That will need to be finished to make it look better, and then perhaps touched up as I am sure some paint will flake off when it is done. I can do the work if someone is interested in the car. There are also a bunch of spare parts including another good used windshield with seal (current one has a small crack in lower left), a set of rear rotors and a bunch of filters, nuts/bolts and other misc stuff. Mileage around 104,000 miles. Not sure of total as the the speedo was replaced with with a 160mph (Original included) and the odo doesn’t work, but I doubt it has more than a couple thousand total since that time. Motor had less than 60,000 when purchased and had around 5 years of mostly track time on it. Probably less than a thousand km a year as the previous owner was mostly racing with it, and there are not a lot of events out here. I ran it in around 10 track days this summer. I want $20,000 Cdn for it. That is firm. Send me an email for more pictures or questions rvanderpyl at davincibb.net POictures with Rotas ![]() ![]() Picture with BBs/Fuchs

This is a sweet deal - 3.6 varioram, 930 brakes, Fuchs/BBS rims - you couldn't build it for this $$!
Robert was within .2 seconds of my times at Racecity in Calgary - with some weight removed, it would definately be a 1.26 car on the full road course. AM

Solo 1 is looking like it's going to be more of a time attack setup this year with weight / hp derived classes. That would mean more track time for you Robert.....
In short: Robert - you should keep it and go Solo 1 again this year ![]() EVERYONE ELSE - this is a great deal

I looked at the schedule for Time Attack, and the things I need to do this year, and they don't fit into the same time/space continium....

Bump one more time before fall. Buy it now or I will probably turn it back into a street car and do some painting in the winter to fix up the chips, then next spring it will cost more and I'll just sell it to some wieney off Kijji
![]() I will deliver it almost anywhere in Canada if you pay the gas costs for the tow.
