need to loan an engine yoke for a short while, in MB

Does anyone have an engine yoke adapter I could borrow for a few weeks? I need to drop my engine to do some work and then will get it back in the car around May. Can anyone help? I will of course take care of the shipping (although with the prices canada post charges I would probably be best to buy a new one!)

I'd also be interested in buying one used too.

Any help appreciated.

To give you an idea of the shipping cost, I shipped one from ON to BC for$23 (tax & fuel surcharge inc.) using online labeling base on 11 Lb in a 12x9x15 box (wine box).

That was the cheapest shipping option and took 6 working days.

It was a sale and I'm using this one for another 6 weeks but I'm sure somebody will pipe up.

Managed to recruit some help from the local PCA, however we have been unable to locate an engine yoke. Pelican cant get one to me until two weeks from now. I need next weekend really.

Anyone got one I can borrow for a while?

the 'universal' type that comes with the engine stand will work. I usually support the front end with something if it's only the case half. to work on a complete case for other work like valves or re-sealing, it works fine. just use some cut down washers to avoid crushing the lip where the trans bolts on.
