Anyone Remember This?

Don't know why I woke up with this song in my head.
Miles & Lenny "Can you give it all to me?"
Video doesn't embed, here is the link.

Myles & Lenny

Hi Bill

I do remember them. Unfortunately they seem to have fallen into the category of "one-hit-wonders". Damn it! I've got the brain worm thing happening & now I can't get their song outta my head. Thanks a bunch pal! Are you going to start rooting for the Canucks now as it seems the Flames (my next favourite team) look as though they may run out of time & fall short of making the playoffs?

Cheers
JB

I must be getting old (48 today) and these damn songs from the past pop in my head from time to time. You tube makes it way too easy to track them down.

Hey, the Flames still have a 6% chance of making the playoffs as of this morning.
They need some big favors and to go 5 for 5 in their last few games!

You know I never minded the Canuckleheads until some of their fans boot screwed a flames fan outside the garage. If I have to I, will revert to being a Habs fan!

Bill Happy birthday. Would be nice to be 48 again.

About the flames and Hockey in general. Why don't they give each player a hockey buck and than they don't have to fight for it.

Professional sport sucks. It's only a money game and who has more money wins.
If it is the Calgary flames or Edmonton Oilers or what ever team, they have not one player on the team which was born in that city on their team.

The team owners and players make the big bucks and than they ask the tax payer to built them a new stadium, what a joke.

It's a strange sliding scale.
Guys in their teens want to be in their 20s.
Guys in their 20s would like another shot at achieving some of their sporting goals not achieved during their teens.
Guys in their 30s would like to be in the condition they were in during their early 20s.
Guys in their 40s would like to be free of the accumulated injuries that they didn't have when they were in their 30s.
It seems like when guys are over 50, they would like to be the age that I am now. Financially stable, secure job, most of the child rearing thing over with (except for me, my little guy is 3).
Life is pretty good. I wouldn't change a thing.
Birthdays (mine) suck, though!;)

Belated Happy Birthday Bill

Re: the goons - unfortunately we have more than our fair share of morons who delight in this sort of thuggery. A lot of these a$$hats know nothing about hockey & couldn't spell puck even if you spotted them a 'p' & a 'k'. Myself I am 'way north' of 48. Enjoy the moment, (as it has been stated numerous times) for it shall pass. All too soon IMHO.

Cheers
JB
