Parting 911 sc in Ontario

Hi folks

I wrecked my race car last year, and after some consideration, decided to "get back on the horse" and build another racer. So, as my (unintended) winter project, I have been transferring parts from my wrecked 911sc race car to my clean rolling chassis.

As a result, I have a huge selection of excellent condition "leftovers", from fenders, hood, whale tail and passenger door, to suspension pieces, electrical (including gauges) and a newly rebuilt 915 transmission. Of course, I also have the wrecked tub.

As a racer, I know that I MAY need some (hopefully not ALL) of these parts in the future, so it is tempting to keep them in "inventory". I have access to storage, however I can see this becoming a giant spider trap in someone's barn.

So, I have decided to sell off all of the parts.

The problem is, I hate the idea of having to sell the pieces off individually. So, I would rather sell the whole package if possible.

Within Ontario, I know of Nineapart, Whale Tale and 911parts. I haven't dealt with any of them in the past.
Does anyone have any recommendation on any of them, or know of someone with a project that might need the parts? I know I can get rid of the tub for scrap, so I am not that worried about that part of the deal, however perhaps someone has use for it as well....

I'm just up the road in Ayr. Sorry to hear about your car. I have bought a few things from WhaleTail - they are in Waterloo (as you probably know). Can't comment on the others.

Would you consider selling some stuff locally? I might be interested in some of your parts.

Randy at Whale Tail is a good guy. You might also want to get in touch with Brent Hunter of Hunter motorsports. He keeps a large inventory of mostly air cooled parts. Frank at nines part is crooked, and miserable to deal with. I'll order a part shipped from California or Europe before I deal with him.

Consider posting on the PCA site. If you do not hava a membership, it will be a good excuse to get one. There are lots of guys looking for parts. Including me.

I am looking for fenders, preferably fibreglass.

I sold the chassis and (steel) fenders to 911parts in Mississauga. Frank is a good guy to deal with if you need anything
