Looking for a clean 1983 - 1989 911 Cabriolet

Hi guys,

Likely will head down to the US this summer and pick a car up, but I thought I would check here first to see if there are any Canadian options.

We (my Porsche-loving girl and I) have decided to add a 911 Cabriolet to our fleet. If you are interested in selling, we are interested in buying the right car.

Specifically:

- Impact bumper 911 Cabriolet (no conversions);
- looking for a well kept, reasonably original car;
- realistically priced;
- no Guards Red, Yellows, Greens (Gf's rule, not mine, sorry!)

Thanks

There is a guy in my neighbourhood who has an 84 in that sort of copper shade and is looking to move it. It is very original with relatively low miles I believe. Needs a little freshening to bring it up to standards or drive as is. You may have seen it in the parking lot of the concourse. Not sure how much he wants. Let me know and I can put you in touch. He is in Burlington.

Regards, Joe

Thanks Joe,

His car is on my radar, I've seen the ad posted. Colour looks quite attractive in the pictures, so I am planning on being in touch with him next week when the gf has fewer work commitments.

Stephen.

Thanks Rich, that's the ad that I'm talking about. I think it's also posted on autotrader.ca

There was also a kiln red 84 Carrera that I will show the gf pics of, not sure she will buy into the idea of kiln red, but worth a shot. She's a huge Porsche fan, very knowledgeable so I want her to like the car as well.

It's the Kiln red one I'm talking about. It is an 84. I know the guy, I think it's a little rough aorund the edges but very original and I think he's owned it for quite a while.
